Average Wage by High-Tech Occupation
Managers and engineers lead the high-tech industry in terms of average wages by occupation. According to the most recently compiled data, computers and IS managers earned an average annual salary in Georgia of $113,140. A systems software engineer earned an average of $95,970, while a software engineer specializing in applications made an average of $89,840. While these figures are substantially higher than typical Georgia average wages, they are below the national average for each of those categories.
