About 25 percent of the respondents in the Technology Decision-Maker survey said they hire workers from another country who are required to have H1B visas. Of these respondents, 81.1 percent said they were able to obtain the visa they needed. However, when asked to rate their satisfaction with the process on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 representing completely satisfied, the visa process scored an average rating of only 5.8.
