More than half of the respondents to the Technology Decision-Maker Survey said they employ engineers as part of their technology workforce. While there has been ongoing discussion within the state regarding the supply of engineers, those respondents who said they employ endgineers were divided on the issue. Of the 84 respondents to the survey who employ engineers, 40.5 percent believed that Georgia has a shortage of engineers. However, a slim majority of 53.6 percent said that Georgia does not have a shortage of engineers.
