Product Development and Security tied for the top of the "Most Important Technology Initiatives" list as respondents to the Technology Decision Makers Survey indicated their organizations focusing on product development in 2018 to drive innovation (up from the number 5 position in 2017). Concerns about data breaches and privacy as computing becomes increasingly mobile and cloud-based. Interestingly, BI/Big Data and Artificial Intelligence initiatives were third and fourth on this year's list.
