Key Finding 9: Georgia Improving as an Innovation Center

Market leaders believe that there is room for improvement to create innovation centers. Georgia was rated a 6.67 average score on a 10-point scale when asked to rate innovation within the GA technology sector when compared to other states. This is up slightly from 6.56 last year.

The most important factors to be an innovation center include access to capital (14.89%), access to skilled labor (14.89%), access to industry thought leaders/experts (10.57%) and tax incentives for research and development (10.57%).
