Atlanta serves as the key technology hub within the State of Georgia, representing 66% of the overall GA technology employment.In 2018, Atlanta grew its technology employment by almost 2.4% over 2017, adding 4,600 new jobs – mostly adding technical occupations such as applications developers and computer systems managers. Atlanta ranks 6th in technology professional employment across all MSAs nationally.
